GREEN UP THE BLUE

Hey Blue Springs! We need YOUR help to keep our beautiful city clean and green. Gather friends, family, coworkers, church or communinty group to join one of three different teams for Green Up the Blue, Saturday, April 18. Check-in and day-of registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a brief meeting at 9 a.m. before everyone departs to their respective areas. Stream Team – focus on streams, creeks, ponds and lakes to clean up banks and surrounding areas Guardians of the Green – focus on greenspaces such as parks or areas not in the right-of-ways Roadside Wranglers – focus on right-of-ways at I-70 and Woods Chapel Road; I-70 and 7 Highway; and I-70 and Adams Dairy Parkway What to Bring Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes Reusable water bottle Gloves (if you have them) Lots of energy and a smile! We Provide Trash bags Gloves Trash pickers A chance to make new friends and give back to the community!
